Applications are now being accepted through October 1 for two federal judicial vacancies.  

The first judicial vacancy is for the Oregon seat on the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. The second judicial vacancy is for the U.S. District Court for Oregon.

Interested applicants should send a letter of interest, resume and application found here to the attention of Elise Downing, Elise_Downing@Wyden.senate.gov in Senator Wyden’s office by the October 1^st, 2017 deadline. 

Finalists will be chosen by a selection committee for the pair of federal court positions and will be forwarded to the White House for consideration.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals vacancy arose when Judge Diarmuid O’Scannlain took senior status at the end of last year. The vacancy for the U.S. District Court for Oregon was created when Judge Anna Brown took senior status in July.
