Diversity Speaker Series

The Willamette University College of Law Latinx Law Students Association (LLSA) is hosting the 2020 Spring Semester Dean Santos Diversity Speaker Series event on Thursday, March 12, 2020 - 6pm at the Ford Theatre Hall on the Willamette University campus. Please see the information below. The topic will be Tribal Relations in Oregon with panelists: Delores (Dee) Pigsley, Chair of the Confederated Tribes of Siletz Tribal Council; Chris Mercier, Vice Chair of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Tribal Council; Oregon House of Representative Tawna Sanchez; and US Attorney's Office for Oregon/Tribal Liaison Tim Simmons.

There is much for us to learn about the 9 sovereign and federally recognized tribal nations in Oregon, and our government-to-government relationships. We are fortunate to have such distinguished panelists.
